A crowd favorite is our costume portion of competition. We want to see the outfit that you create based on your favorite things about Fur Rondy. Let your imagination run wild with your designs and strut your stuff down the runway.
We are looking for a representative who is well-spoken and enthusiastic about sharing the Fur Rondy experience with both Alaskans and visitors throughout the year. Holding a Fur Rondy Royalty title is a professional role that represents Fur Rendezvous, so we ask each candidate to submit a professional resume outlining their qualifications as well as community support letters, and a cover letter.
The interview is your first opportunity to make a strong impression on the judges. You will meet with the judging panel in a private setting to share your passion for Fur Rondy, discuss details from your resume, and answer a question selected by the judges.
